Spouse Program

  This year, participants in The Truck Blue Book Conference Spouse Program will have the pleasure of taking part in a “Recipes for Success” private event at The Culinary Center of Kansas City. Housed in a beautifully restored buggy barn built at the turn of the century, you will feel completely transported to another place as you enter the center, adorn your apron and begin preparing our “Ciao Down Italian Style” menu for the day.

  Working with one of The Culinary Center’s talented chefs, you will participate in a hands-on cooking class that will end in a gourmet Italian lunch complete with Italian House Salad, Chicken Spiedini with Amogia, Orzo Pasta, Vegetables and Classic Tiramisu. Casual or business casual attire is quite appropriate, and aprons will be provided by the center. Please note that comfortable, kitchen safe shoes are required (shoes with heels are not recommended, due to rubber mats in kitchen area.)

  While at The Culinary Center of Kansas City discover Kitchenology, a culinary retail shop offering serious culinary retail therapy for your cooking and entertaining “addiction.” You will find everything from basic cooking equipment to unusual gift items for your favorite “foodie.”
